2020 - We're in the end game now

     There has been a trend going on in the Hollywood film industry where certain horror flicks make their scare factor based off an aspect of life that upon following the characters through the movie, you'd see just how valuable such a thing would be.        For instance , take Birdbox as an example , the movie's plot was set in a world thrown into "blind" chaos as other-worldly creatures preyed on the darkest inner thoughts of their victims who were unfortunate to look upon them, prompting them to either kill themselves or others. For people who haven't seen Birdbox, (apologies, but big shame to you guys), the story roughly centres around a mother trying to get to a sanctuary which rumour claims to be protected against these creatures. Hello world?

     Starting  a blog was not a new idea to me, nor was I a newbie to the art that is creative writing. The push came while I was reading one of Chimamanda Adichie's outstanding novels:  Americanah - a novel. I'm yet to finish by the way-as I saw Ifemelu get so much recognition in the States from just writing about her views on racism in America. Of course, I'm not going to write about racism(because unlike her this is Nigeria, and we do not have time for racism), I simply wanted a space to just air my views on a lot of issues going on in my life and the world happening around me even though some might say I can be very oblivious to a world outside my own.        As my moniker must have given you an inkling as to what this blog is going to be about.
